Valentine’s Day is such an important day, not just because it reminds us of the around us, but the love within us that no one can ever take away.

As my team and I reflect on what this day means to us, we recognize that sometimes, Valentine’s Day can be bring up feelings of loneliness, unworthiness, discomfort, and even grief. If you find yourself experiencing this throughout the month of February, we have some love notes for you that can help you shift your thoughts towards hope and the comfort of knowing that there is still so much yet to come for you in this life!

We are all too familiar with the belief that we MUST do it all. In a fast paced society, we are often modeled what it looks like to hustle on our own more than we are modeled what it looks like to slow down and ask for help. Friend, I want to affirm you today and tell you that you should be so proud of yourself that you can do hard things on your own. I also want to encourage you through a gentle nudge to connect with those who trust and practice communicating your need for help when it arises. You might be surprised as you grow in this!

Healing is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding thing you can do for yourself. Prioritizing what you need during this process is an act of self love that you should never feel guilty or ashamed of. During this process, it is important to know the most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself, so cherish this time and be encouraged.
